Meet Linda

A mother of three college graduates, Linda understands the issues facing families of students and strives to help alleviate the stress involved with the college application process. Chin College Counseling was founded to build a safe space for all students to grow, learn and be supported in this next step in their lives.  

 

With an authentic passion to help others, Linda partners with students and their families to develop an individualized plan to guide them through the college selection and application process. She meets students and families where they're at - from selecting a tailored list of colleges, to writing and preparing strong college applications, to walking through financial aid and scholarships. 

 

She worked for over 18 years in the Portland metropolitan area running a College and Career Center, hosting over 100 colleges and universities each year and working closely with admissions representatives throughout the country as well as traveling to campuses in order to serve her students at the highest level.  

 

Linda is a member of the Pacific Northwest Association for College Admission Counseling (PNACAC), Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), the Portland Area Counseling Consortium, and past member of the Association for Career and of Technical Education (ACTE).
